Human Rights

Under the leadership of Sevanikethan, certificates were distributed to those who completed the three-month tailoring training at Kadamanchira Community Hall. 1.JYOTHIS – Adopts a village which is economically and socially backward for total development and programs are arranged for the village. 2.RELIEF WORKS - Sevanikethan is active in doing relief works in case of natural calamities or accidents. 3.ANUGRAHA- Implemented with the goal of comprehensive development of the marginalized. 4. SARATHY- Auto, Taxi Workers welfare scheme

Natural Resource Management

In May 2023, an awareness session was conducted at Kuchappuram as part of the Urjakiran - LIFE project, in collaboration with the Kerala Energy Management Centre and the Centre for Environment and Development.

Family Empowerment

Under the leadership of sevanikethan, an Anti-Drug Day celebration was held at the Sacred Heart Niwas Special School in Parayal. The event was presided over by sevanikethan Director Rev. Fr. Christy Maria SACH, and inaugurated by Changanassery Excise Preventive Officer Pradeep Kumar V.N., who also conducted a class. Changanassery Regional Organizer Mr. Joshi Kollapuram led the anti-drug awareness pledge. Poster and quiz competitions were conducted for the children, and prizes were distributed to the winners.

Women Empowerment

As part of women's empowerment initiatives, sevanikethan conducted audits of the self-help groups formed in conjunction with various Muds under its leadership. The sevanikethan staff reviewed the records and provided necessary directives and guidance.

Child Development

Every Saturday, unit-level meetings of sespin are convened. These sessions are led by the system coordinator and the animator. Each week, children participate in five activities: Bible verse recitation, craft work, transcription exercises, motivational quotes, and quizzes. These activities are subsequently assessed by the teachers. Additionally, Sevani Ketan staff visit the unit to offer essential guidance and support.

Capacity Building Programme Core Group Meeting

The 24rd annual Math Core Group meeting was convened on July 14-16, 2024, at the scenic Sacred Heart Provincial House bUjjain. The gathering saw active participation from sevanikethan and Sahridaya, who jointly presented the achievements of the preceding six months and highlighted the operational report. Exceptional accomplishments from previous initiatives were also honored with the prestigious Jyotis Award.
